AHW has an education standard, which Members are obliged to meet to maintain membership status. This standard came into effect on May 1, 2012. The following timeline will be in effect for all members of Atlantic Home Warranty.

- National Building Code
completed within 1st year of membership - National Building Code Updates(As applicable) completed within 12 months of course availability
- Mandatory Home-building On-Demand and Live Webinar Training Sessions - following modules to be completed within two years of membership
- Foundations - On-Demand Course, complete at your own pace
- Water Penetration - On-Demand Course, complete at your own pace
- Building Successful Flooring Systems – On-Demand Course, complete at your own pace
- Residential Ventilation – 4 Hour Webinar
- Residential Drywall Application – 4 Hour Webinar
- Construction Law – 3 Hour Webinar
- Project Management – 3 Hour Webinar

completed within 3 years of membership

Once a builder completes all course requirements they qualify for the “Residential Construction Warranty Certification”.
